When using a vacuum pump, you may encounter a problem where it cannot draw water. Why does this happen? Based on years of experience, vacuum pump manufacturers have summarized the following reasons for this issue.
During the operation of a vacuum pump, issues such as the pump failing to draw water may arise. Why does this occur? Based on years of experience, the vacuum pump manufacturer has summarized the following causes for the pump failing to draw water.
(1) Insufficient rotational speed of the vacuum pump or reverse rotation, leading to motor burnout.
(2) Circulating water not supplied or blocked water lines, with valves not opened.
(3) Excessive circulating water volume causing backflow.
(4) Air leaks in the lift pump seal box (commonly known as packing), the inlet water pipeline, or flanges.
(5) The outlet valve of the lift pump is not fully closed.
(6) Air leaks in the vacuum pump housing, severe wear, or damage to the pump.
